Detailing is a bit different than “car washing”. Detailing is the art of reconditioning all of the surfaces of a vehicle to “like new” if not better than new condition. This starts with cleaning and ends with protecting those surfaces in order to preserve them.

What makes detailing art is that it’s truly all about the details. This includes not just the details of each job, but the details of honing your process and discovering the best tools and products that can take your work to the next level. The best detailer’s in the world posses a true passion for the craft and can take a vehicle that has been used, neglected and abused and restore it to something spectacular.

Detailing, like art, can be subjective, so the “perfect” detail is in the eye of the beholder. Detailing can range from getting a daily driver back to “like new” condition or polishing every single nut and bolt to perfection on a concourse quality show vehicle.

The Art of Detailing can provide value in many ways. It has value for any person who loves their vehicle and wants to keep it in it’s best condition possible. If you enjoy the craft of detailing professionally or as a hobbyist it can be a source of pride as well as a therapeutic experience. Whether it’s the daily driver or the concourse antique, the preservation of the vehicle will help maintain it’s value and in some cases preserve history. On top of that, there is the value and personal satisfaction that comes with driving a clean machine!

In order to personalize our services for each individual customer’s needs, we provide a vehicle assessment that we can complete via email, by phone or in person prior to scheduling a detail appointment. Depending on how big the project may be this may include a brief questionnaire and a vehicle walk around. This assessment is vital in understanding the best way to approach detailing your specific vehicle, safely and effectively, as well as recommending only the services and packages that will benefit you and your specific desires. This assessment helps us determine the scope of the services needed as well as calculate an estimated service time.

We base our quotes on the size of the vehicle, the condition of the vehicle and what a client’s wishes are. Some vehicles simply will take more time and effort based on those various factors and so we have to charge accordingly. No matter the scale of the job our number one priority is to deliver a client’s vehicle to them in a condition that exceeds their expectations and delivers on the highest quality service experience possible.

Unlike a chain car wash or detailing shop that’s business is based on pumping out a high volume of vehicles, our priority at Dream Machine Detailing is giving our customers a high degree of quality. That quality often takes some additional time to achieve.

You will get a much more personalized service and detailing your vehicle will be our sole focus for the day. We do not have a huge crew, working stressful hours, churning out 20 cars in one day. Instead you’ll get a pair of highly skilled and passionate individuals taking the time, care and focus to account for every detail and deliver an exceptional result.

Our stand alone Interior and Exterior Packages are typically same day services, unless the vehicle is extra dirty or needs some additional A La Carte services (time estimates are discussed during the vehicle assessment). Our Complete Detail Packages typically take up a full day. Our Paint Correction Packages expect on average between 1 – 3 days for services to be completed. If you give us the time, we’ll give you the quality you deserve.

There are many variants these days in vehicle size so we have tried to distill those vehicles into four categories (Small, Medium, Large and Extra-Large) to simplify our pricing structure and give customers a general sense of associated service time.

There is no detailing service request we won’t entertain as long as it doesn’t require a professional mechanic or body shop. Since there are endless scenarios that may come up with customers requests we do our best to be problem solvers. If there is a service we don’t currently list it doesn’t necessarily mean we can’t fulfill it. We also appreciate customer feedback. It helps us continue to grow and provide the quality of services we are proud to offer.
