Dream Machine Detailing, LLC offers premium detailing services year-round. We have custom built a mobile van and trailer rig that allows us to transport everything needed including water and power to your doorstep. We also have a NEW studio location for winter season work, rainy days and projects with extended timelines. Your home or ours, it’s up to you. 2024 Price Adjustments: At Dream Machine Detailing we strive to offer a premium level of quality to our clients. We are a referral driven business and so keeping our quality high and meeting and exceeding our clients expectations is always our first priority. In order to continue offering the same level of quality our clients have come to expect, and maintain a profitable business, we have made some adjustments to our rates. We are now charging a general labor rate of $75 per hour for cleaning and detailing and $100 per hour for paint polishing and correction work. Our listed package prices are a general guideline based on these rates. These package prices are a general estimate and can fluctuate based on the real world factors such as vehicle condition, vehicle size and the scope and time of the services requested. Some services may also include a supply cost for specialty work such as headlight restoration, paint polishing, ceramic coatings or paint chip touch ups. Any mobile jobs beyond a 20 mile range of our home base have a mobile mileage surcharge of ($0.67 per mile). We appreciate our current and future clients and are grateful for your support in our continued commitment to offering a truly premium level quality service.
All New Dream Machine Detailing Studio: We are excited to announce that we now have a private studio location, located North of Milwaukee, that allows us to continue our services throughout the cold weather months, as well as take on more extensive detailing projects and work on rainy days. We will still be servicing one vehicle per day, by appointment only. You can opt to drop off and pick up or we can transport your vehicle to and from our location for you. A transport surcharge may apply for extended travel distances. We will continue to offer our unique mobile detailing services throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons.
Spring/Summer Scheduling: Spring is almost upon us and Summer is just around the corner. Once temperatures are steadily above 40 degrees we will be working primarily mobile once again. Welcome to Dream Machine Detailing, LLC. My name is Don Ford and I am the owner operator of Dream Machine Detailing. I am an avid motor-vehicle enthusiast and founded Dream Machine Detailing in August of 2019.
My brother James joined me in 2020 as my partner and together we have set out to provide services that put quality before quantity. We offer high quality Interior & Exterior Detailing, Paint Correction and Mobile Services.
We cater to clients who prioritize maintaining and caring for their vehicles whether it’s to maintain their vehicle’s resale value or because it’s their pride and joy. We are car people and understand and share in the passion of owning and maintaining a special vehicle.
We will work on anything from a daily driver to a barn find classic that needs a full reconditioning. We primarily specialize in Automotive Detailing, however we can work on personal watercraft, recreational vehicles, motorcycles and get an extra thrill working on performance vehicles and classics.
When you hire Dream Machine Detailing, you are hiring us so you get a uniquely personable experience. No service reps or service food chain to work through to get scheduled and when you contact us we are also the ones who will be working on your vehicle. Unlike a dealership or a detail shop that deals with a high volume of vehicles we typically book one client per day, which allows for a higher attention to detail and a more thorough end result. We aren’t satisfied with the job done unless you are as it is client referrals that primarily fuel our business.
First and foremost our goal is to do no harm. We take caring for your vehicle very seriously and are a fully Insured business. We utilize the finest quality, professional grade products and tools by well established brands so we can remain efficient, yet deliver thorough and safe detailing services. We also choose products that are VOC compliant and environmentally friendly.
Working safe also means “working clean”. This means that we will never touch your vehicle with any tool, product or wash media left over from a previous job. All tools, buckets, brushes, wash mitts, microfiber towels and buffing pads are thoroughly cleaned before each job.
In order to deliver consistent, professional results we care about keeping up with professional practices within the detailing industry. To stay informed we are members of the International Detailing Association (IDA). I have also received certification upon completing hands on detail training with industry icon Mike Phillips in 2020. As of September of 2023 both my brother James and I are certified as Angelwax ceramic coating installers.
One of the most unique aspects of Dream Machine Detailing is that we are mobile. My brother and I have built a custom mobile detailing van and trailer so that we can bring high-end detailing right to your doorstep. We get feedback all of the time from our clients about the convenience and time saved of not having to juggle their schedules for arranging drop of and pick up of their vehicle from a shop. We strive to match or exceed the quality of services offered by the best detailing shops in Milwaukee area with our unique mobile format.

“Recently I had Don detail my mobile dog grooming van. This van is used and abused inside and out on a daily basis. In the grooming area there are all sorts of cabinets, hoses, and vents where dog hair can accumulate and stick. It is not kept in a garage so it is exposed to all of Wisconsin’s weather elements as well. The van needed some serious TLC inside and out to say the least.
Don came over and he was very friendly and professional. He arrived early and spent the day working on the exterior and interior. When he finished, I was so amazed by the transformation. It looked like it had been repainted, wheels looked amazing, windows were spotless! The inside was so clean, all of the nook and crannies were hair free, and it smelled so fresh that I didn’t want to use it for grooming!
